I started working with Linda last fall on losing weight. On the first session Linda did suggestions for helping create a healthy life style. In one of the sessions Linda worked on suggestions for exercise motivation tailored to my own personal needs. In subsequent sessions she worked on the underlying emotional issues that caused my emotional comfort eating. Now I have lost 30 lbs and feel great. Hypnosis has helped me make the life style changes that were necessary for weight loss. I now eat only when I am physiologically hungry and my food choices are now healthy fruits, vegetables and lean meat.
In addition to the weight loss I asked Linda to help me with my memory and concentration. Wow, hypnosis really works, I am able to concentrate much better and my memory has greatly improved. In addition I asked Linda to help me cope better in stressful situations. Hypnosis has definitely helped reduce the amount of stress that I am under.
Linda recorded all of my sessions on CDs to reinforce the therapies which have been very effective in helping me get past my problems.
I highly recommend Linda; she really knows what she is doing and is very professional.

I have met with Linda O'Hearn for two sessions to use hypnosis to help me quit smoking cigarettes. The first meeting was really an interview so Linda could learn a little more about me, and she explained what hypnosis is and how it works. After the interview, she conducted a session using many of the thtings we talked about in the interview to personalize the session to me specficially. Linda makes a CD recording of the session which she gives to you to use at home which is a huge help. I had reduced my smoking to weekends only but I just couldn't make the transition to not smoking at all. After the first session and using the CD at home, I reduced my smoking to 5-6 cigarettes down from a full pack. We had another session the following week and she made a new CD for me to use and I am now smoke free.
Hypnosis is not going to change your life for you on it's own, we all have ownership in making that happen. what it has done for me is open doors and thought processes to understand why I am smoking, what I can do to stop, and positive reinforcement to help me make the transition to become a non smoker.
I have to admit, when I showed up to the first session I was a little apprehensive and nervous. Linda is very professional in her approach, very easy to talk to, and it didn't take her very long to make me feel very comfortable and relaxed.
I am very pleased with the results Linda has helped me achieve. It was time well spent, I wish I would have done this a long time ago.
